This is the exact reason why I am so glad I keep my shit on the DL. Down. Freaking. Low.

It fucking surprises me how couples appear on social media vs. how they are in real life. I guess I used to think like that too, to express a lot of my "love" and my feelings for my s/o on FB, MS, or even yet, those profile pages in AIM. Yes, social media gives you the freedom to say whatever you want, to write whatever you want. Yes, you can have your friends and frienemies see what you post and how great you're treating your s/o. But, NO, people be all up in your business assuming shit. 

This is the exact reason why I am so glad I keep my shit on the DL. Down. Freaking. Low. Because everyone assumes based on what they see. It's also sad that people do that in general. I am definitely guilty. I've judged based on cute comments, picture posts on IG, and or some soppy status thinking "oh, they must be so in love" or "shit. are they broken up?!" 

No one knows your relationship better than you and posting alllllladat really doesn't fix any imbalance your relationship, contrary to what you think. I actually really look up to people who keep their shit between the two. It makes me value their friendship and relationship so much more. Thank you to those who don't whore your relationships on social media and keeping my judgmental mind to myself!
